Job Description:

The Political Mid-Level Strategist is responsible for developing and implementing campaign and advocacy strategies for a political campaign or advocacy organization. This includes conducting research and analysis, developing messaging and communication plans, and working with the campaign or organization’s leadership team to set goals and priorities. The Political Mid-Level Strategist will also be responsible for coordinating with other campaign or organization staff to execute strategies and achieve campaign or advocacy goals.

Roles/Duties:

  • Develop and implement campaign and advocacy strategies for a political campaign or advocacy organization
  • Conduct research and analysis
  • Develop messaging and communication plans
  • Work with the campaign or organization’s leadership team to set goals and priorities
  • Coordinate with other campaign or organization staff to execute strategies and achieve campaign or advocacy goals

Job Requirements:

  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with campaign or advocacy strategy development is preferred

Compensation Range:

$50,000 – $70,000 per year, depending on experience.

Schedule:

The Political Mid-Level Strategist will be expected to work full-time, typically Monday through Friday. The schedule may include evening and weekend work, as needed.

Experience Requirements:

At least 2-3 years of experience in political campaign or advocacy strategy is required. Experience in a leadership role is preferred.
