Political Campus Organizer Job Description: Top Duties and Qualifications

Job Description:

The Political Campus Organizer is responsible for building support and organizing political campaigns or advocacy efforts on college and university campuses. This includes recruiting and training student volunteers, coordinating events and activities, and working with campus organizations and clubs. The Political Campus Organizer will also be responsible for building relationships with campus administration and faculty, and for representing the campaign or advocacy organization to the media and the public.

Roles/Duties:

  • Build support and organize political campaigns or advocacy efforts on college and university campuses
  • Recruit and train student volunteers
  • Coordinate events and activities
  • Work with campus organizations and clubs
  • Build relationships with campus administration and faculty
  • Represent the campaign or advocacy organization to the media and the public

Job Requirements:

  • Enrollment in a college or university is required
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with political campaigns or advocacy is a plus

Compensation Range:

$15 – $20 per hour, depending on experience.

Schedule:

The Political Campus Organizer will typically work part-time, with flexible hours that may include evenings and weekends.

Experience Requirements:

No prior experience is required, but prior experience in political organizing or advocacy is a plus.
